TRIPURA ELECTION

यह भारत के 65 साल के चुनावी इतिहास में पहली बार हो रहा है कि माकपानीत वाम दलों और भाजपा की सीधी टक्कर राज्य स्तर पर हो रही है। राज्य में माकपा ने 56 सीट पर प्रत्याशी उतारे हैं।

बता दें कि त्रिपुरा में जहाँ पिछली सरकार में कांग्रेस को 10 सीटों पर जीत मिली थी लेकिन इस बार अपना खाता भी नहीं खोल पाई। विधानसभा की 60 में से 59 सीटों पर हुए मतदान में 92 फीसदी से अधिक मतदाताओं ने वोट डालकर देश के चुनावी इतिहास में एक रिकॉर्ड बनाया।
